GEO glossary
JSON-LD
JSON-LD (JSON for Linking Data) is a lightweight format for embedding structured data in a web page, using a script tag to describe the page's entities with the schema.org vocabulary. It is the format Google recommends and the most common way to implement schema markup.
Also known as: JSON for Linking Data
For GEO, JSON-LD is how you hand answer engines clean, machine-readable facts about your brand, articles, FAQs and services, without changing the visible page. It is invisible to visitors and read only by crawlers and AI.
